About the Program
The Epicure Foundation’s™ Community Initiative National Grant Program awards grants of up to $5,000 and in-kind donation packs valued at $250, $500 and $750 to community initiatives across Canada supporting food security.
The Epicure Foundation™ follows a comprehensive evaluation process to ensure funds are allocated to registered charitable organizations that best meet the Foundation’s funding priorities and guidelines. The evaluation takes into consideration an organization’s history, purpose, budget and operation practices. Complete details can be found in the grant application.
In its inaugural year, the Epicure Foundation’s™ Community Initiative National Grant Program was an overwhelming success. Epicure received nearly 200 applications for support, and, after a painstaking selection process, the Epicure Foundation™ allocated more than $40,000 in funding and in-kind donations to grassroots organizations promoting food security across Canada. To date, the Epicure Foundation™ Grant Program has allocated over $100,000 in in-kind and financial donations raised by our Consultants and Home Team Members, along with corporate donations from Epicure Selections®.
